1. What It Is: DAP (Di-Ammonium Phosphate) is a widely used phosphate fertilizer containing two essential nutrients: nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P). It is known for its high nutrient content and excellent crop response.

2. Chemical Properties: - Chemical Formula: (NH₄)₂HPO₄ - Nutrient Content: - Nitrogen (N): ~18% - Phosphorus (P₂O₅): ~46% - Form: Dry, free-flowing, granular or crystalline - Color: Grey, brown, or beige granules

3. Applications:

Agriculture: - Used at planting stage for crops like wheat, corn, rice, vegetables, etc. - Promotes strong root development and early growth - Suitable for all soil types

Industrial Use: - Flame retardants, metal finishing, yeast production

4. Advantages: - Highly concentrated source of N and P - Low salt index, safe for early seedling growth - Easy to apply, mix, and store - Quick-release nutrients, ensuring fast plant uptake
