1. What It Is: Urea 46% is a nitrogen-rich fertilizer containing 46% nitrogen (N), the highest nitrogen content among solid fertilizers. It comes in two forms:

Prilled Urea: Smaller, smooth, round particles

Granular Urea: Larger, harder granules, better for blending and storage

2. Key Properties: - Chemical Formula: CO(NH₂)₂ - Nitrogen Content: 46% - Solubility: Fully soluble in water - Form: White, odorless solid (prills or granules) - Packaging: Usually in 50 kg bags, jumbo bags, or bulk

3. Applications:

Agriculture: - Main use as a nitrogen fertilizer for crops like wheat, corn, rice - Can be applied directly to soil or used in fertilizer blends (NPK)

Industrial Use: Used in resins, adhesives, animal feed, and urea-formaldehyde production

4. Differences: Prilled vs. Granular

Prilled: - Smaller size - Preferred for cooler climates and some industrial uses

Granular: - Larger, more uniform - Better for mechanical spreading and humid climates

5. Storage & Handling: - Store in a dry, cool place - Keep away from moisture to avoid caking - Avoid direct contact with skin or eyes
